    My new favorite cherry tomato

These did great this year. Unlike the other 4 varieties that I tried to grow. They look as great as they taste.

Stunning color and delicious as well!

The Tropical Sunset Pole Cherry is quickly becoming my absolute favorite cherry type tomato. The almost translucent striped color is really beautiful and they are very tasty -nice balance of sweetness & acidity. They are the first tomatoes to ripen among my 30+ varieties growing this year and large enough to be sliced while waiting for my true slicing tomatoes to ripen. These have earned a permanent home in my future gardens.

Easy to start, tolerant of weather changes, great flavor

I have to start plants early because I grow for a teaching garden and kids go back to school in August here. I got a little ahead of myself and started these, along with my other tomatoes, a bit too early this year and, with several late spring frosts, they were stuck in small pots for a long time. The tropical sunsets were unbothered by the cramped conditions. They grew vigorously and started to set fruit before I even got them outside. They've continued to grow throughout May cold snaps and July heat waves. The kids love the color and stripes as well as the sweet flavor. They've been a great addition to the garden and I plan on growing them again next year.
